The biggest problem I've had with HoloEN songs I've listened to is that for the most part they use Japanese composers so they sound like jpop translated into english rather than english music. Some music nerd could go into stuff about pentatonic minors to explain it but all I know is the song cadence feels all wrong.

The new Phase Connect anniversary song is a perfect example of this.
