Feel like only Holo could get away with it. Most people go to the con to either buy exclusive merch, go to big anime premiers or to see their favorite actors/mangaka/directors/cosplay thots or to be with friends because traveling around LA in the summer fucking sucks. Especially right now with the whole political shitshow with ICE. Literally should have just jumped the gun for Offkai in San Jose or waited for a world tour stop and do it on the day after or before their concert days.
