It suits their style a lot better too. They're very chatty when watching movies and because they're always together I imagine it's not too different when not streaming. Less talking because of not having the stimulation from chat but probably a LOT more talking than the average person watching a movie.
If the storytelling is told through the general direction, with visual and audio design, they can both do their chatting and get into the story.
If the story is mostly told through characters telling each other why they should care, like in, say, MGS, then it's harder to follow if you're talking, and even harder if you're also talking to thousands of other people.
They did appreciate stuff like the camera direction in Kojima's games a lot too, but when the big plot points are revealed in historical fantasy powerpoint presentations, it's no wonder it won't jive with them as well as the cinematography in 2001.

So in terms of content they're doing this week it's literally FWMC Morning which is always the same tired shit and then a 2 hour advent collab. Everything else already happened or is so negligible and inaccessible behind a paywall it's not worth mentioning.
