The Nova Terra interregnum in the corner is a classic "look at me I'm such a nerd" move. Most 40K fans have like, very vague knowledge of the nova terra interregnum because there's no books about it and limited background lore, while they have very clear knowledge of like the most obscure battle in the whole setting because they read some book that made up that battle in the first place. Its a setting, its for the specific stories, its not a wiki first.

There are ways painting kind of fast for a mediocre but passable result, but the problem is that assumes you have a certain level of experience. You develop the ability to do that by already investing some time and practicing the basics. And I just mean fast in the sense that you can do it in a non-absurd timeframe while working on it like once or twice a week. Its still slow compared to most things.
