While men typically suck at talking about their feelings, they're weirdly great at resolving, or at the very least confronting, conflict. Women would literally rather kill themselves than avoid handle confrontation or speak directly. Men will wander off to cool off and they'll actually go and cool off, count to 10, etc.. Women will "go to cool off" and in actuality they're just seething and fuming and festering. Men are also just significantly more autonomous; it's sometimes said as a joke, but men really can just be content for months on end hyper-focusing on their hobbies or personal interest, whereas women typically can't. I bring that quality up because men are, ironically, more accepting of "just letting somebody do their own shit in private" or otherwise earnestly ignoring/tolerating other people because they actually understand and value privacy.
