I know this is a phaseligger board now, so I'll explain. The nerve tick of numbers is because of 2022 when nobody around was streaming. Only Fauna was around to carry. Think Mori got some PTSD from that era because it was really rough for HoloEN in terms of streaming output which massively made lots of people feel disinterested in Hololive. Combine this with the big internal drama that made lots of people want to quit too lol.

Unfortunately with JP management, this aspect of you know - managing output should be part of their fucking job but they clearly have their own priorities with just doing idolstuff and putting streaming on the backburner which has been displayed multiple times. Mori knows that streaming is just as important for the job so that's probably why she's stressed because she directly/indirectly needs to have some online presence for the branch. Anon they recently had 7 graduations in Hololive because of management disagreements. That was due to Cover upper management and has no connection to Mori. I don't think Yagoo is a horrible guy but he suffers from the typical Japanese CEO mindset in which he allowed HoloEN to almost burn to do the ground before he would even look in that direction. After the grim year of 2022 there was some brief optimism in 2023 but that didn't last long. 2025 is the worst year for EN in terms of employee morale and the feeling that a lot of them are secretly burned out. No one feels like they are really confident in the direction of Hololive.

I alqays find it interesting that people point to Omega, but he was removed by 2024, and people still left knowing he was being kicked. I should add that it's not a secret when FWMC literally said during members that they were playing jenga instead of tetris with their scheduling and they felt like the game was about to end. For those who don't know how jenga works, you pull blocks out from lower levels of three-lined blcoks and stack them on top. The tower gets more and more shaky as the foundation gets weaker, and the game ends when a block is pulled to move and the tower falls down.
Not to mention the fact that Kiara, who has always been open about times of stress or unease, has gotten a lot more vocal and forward about being tired when she used to just keep plugging away.

I think most of the EN talents hated Omega, the EN project manager, but he was replaced by late 2022. In early 2023 they did tell viewers of huge changes in EN management and for a brief time they were optimistic about Hololive. Saying it will be a long year sounds ominous and feels like 2022 again.

I think what your forgetting is that most of the older talents mentioned that Advent and Justice were brought on 'with the new focus' and that things had changed on the back end that might have made the others want to move on. We have no idea what's happening behind the scenes, but when I see Cover pump more and more product out at an ever-increasing pace, FWMC talking about how they personally signed up for a lot but got fucked over by Cover adding even more on top of that, and the general 'feeling' a lot of the girls in EN have been giving off (tired, worn down, etc), you really gotta wonder what happened AFTER Omega. Even funnier that the people who graduated did it AFTER Omega was removed.

When Myth joined, they expected it to be another HoloID with barely any support or work to do beyond a few streams here and there and maybe some music. Promise was likely similar.
It wasn't until a while later when Advent came in that the girls came out the gate completely prepared and knowing how and what they'd be doing in hololive.

My schizo theory is that it's a middle manager fiefdom revolt. Omega was removed but all the staff and managers he brought in still run the turf, and more importantly have connections to JP upper management which allows them to circumvent ENs new upper management. They can't openly go against their new manager but they can very easily delay and cause issues with the talent that don't tow their line, and even when forced into doing something, like segregate the homo twitter, they do so while still engaging with the homos and ignoring the girls.
