I understand why I like Geega so much now.

I remember Mouse and Michi having a conversation once where they bonded over the fact that they're both similar in that they still consider someone a friend even if they interact with that other person very infrequently. Zen seems like the opposite. The longer someone doesn't interact with her, the more her brain worms tell her that that person hates her. This causes her to constantly bug that person for collabs and for validation that they're friends. Some personality types likely don't respond well to this and unconsciously start to distance themselves further. I don't think anyone is in the wrong here, I just think it's due to an incompatibility in personality types.

You're missing the point. The point is that they likely had opposing views on how Vshojo should continue, especially when it comes to the auditions, which strained their relationship.
I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with either approach but Vshojo doesn't have a great history with auditions, they're more expensive and a much bigger risk.
So Zen pushing for them and then deciding to leave could have created a sour mood.
