She didn't leave Holo because of muh illness. She left because she doesn't want VTubing to become a sweaty job. By becoming indie, she is not forced to become face of a corpo (hence no obligatory PR appearance) and she is fully in control of her schedule (hence she can just fuck off for months and no one would bother asking). Also she can control her brand like her tummy reveal loli model and cunny references, which even Holo are still scared to go to that territory (probably why the Gura body pillow never got to the planning phase)
