I used to watch Nerissa a lot, but she really started to get annoying starting around the Japan arc last year, when she just full on whiny white girl mode all the time. Rissa likes being in Hololive, don't get me wrong, but I do think as time has gone on, she doesn't like everything that has come with being in Hololive. Her a(nd ERB) are probably the two EN members that could thrive a lot more if they formally just stopped regularly streaming and focused on music. I think that would help with some of her issues, but not all of them.

She’s always complaining, every stream turns into a cycle of ranting, self-loathing, or moping about superficial things. I don’t watch VTubers to be dragged into someone’s bad mood every time. Instead of uplifting or entertaining, it just becomes emotionally draining. I’m not looking for forced positivity, but when the default mood is always negative, self-deprecating, and low-energy, it stops being fun. Really feels like Nerissa has been phoning it in for a while now considering how low effort she's been getting. She used to post schedules all the time but then stopped for 2 months, April and May, and then only just started doing them again and now she stopped once again. She used to make thumbnails for every stream but now relies on preselected thumbnails from YouTube because she's becoming lazy. She's also been doing a lot of low effort chatting/eating streams. She hasn't done a solo gaming stream since last month and has only played a game in collabs. Her music is also flopping now too, the thing she wanted to focus on most. Doesn't take a genius to see that Nerissa is losing passion and maybe losing passion being in Hololive. Everyone here thought Shiori would have a high chance of being the first graduation of Advent, but it's looking like it might end up being Nerissa with how things have been going the past 3 months. At least Shiori still puts in effort for her members and Novelknights with videos every month and also interacts with them and has fun with them tool. Also it doesn't help that she has shown clear favoritism towards a certain group of Jailbirds, the Twitter lesbians, and that definitely rubs her other fans the wrong way because nobody likes favoritism. She's slowly losing fans that way and you can see that with how she struggled to sell her limited merch while Shiori's sold out, even though hers had huge tariffs on them while Nerissa's had less tariffs. The early warning signs are there for Nerissa and I don't think it's gonna improve any time soon

As the OP mentioned, she was presented as this beastly singer, yet she barely sings.
Long story short, she set up a lot of expectations and didn't deliver on them, honestly.
I still don't fully understand what identity she's supposed to have.
A lot of holomems struggle to find their identity and quirks when they first start, but then slowly solidify their own character.
She seems, in comparison, still very undeveloped. Like if she lacked a precise identity. Her most peculiar things so far seem to be she's a fan of Kiara and she has a family. That's a bit underwhelming.
She lacks in personality. Not as a person, I mean as a character.
