Is anybody immune to bimbofication? Okayu, Doki, Kronii, Calli, Gura(Saba), Henya. It seems everyone gets bimbofied sooner or later.

Maybe Ina? Biboo? Has anyone become more prudish?

Doki saw my complaint about lack of booba and immediatly grew them back bc my view is the only one she cares about.

I feel bad for Saba and the lolicons might be celebrating but there is a long history of vtubers completely burning out when they lean this heavily into the lolicon stuff. Gura went through a lot in Hololive so I really didn't want to see a sad ending for her. Maybe I was naive and the natural course of vtubers is a steady increase in degenerate coombait with the occasional rare exception.

I am cynical about Japanese idol companies because they are sexist in many ways that would be controversial with EN vtubers. There are anime like Ya Boy Kongming and Oshi no Ko that criticize the sleazier side of the idol industry even if there are economic reasons for why companies heavily sexualize idols. I am not shocked that Hololive had disagreements on the EN side but 4 graduations in less than a year shows the fighting is getting worse.

Saba is young looking even for a loli vtuber and it's baffling that she is retweeting lewd fan art. With the exception of desperate indies it's rare for a major vtuber to pander this heavily to lolicons and what Saba is doing would be considered strange even in Japan.

I've never seen Ya Boy Kongming, but Oshi no Ko doesn't do that at all. The idol industry in that series comes across as way cleaner than the acting industry, with all the sexpests being actors or directors and "I'd love to sleep with you sir but I'm an idol so my agency would kill me and my crazy fans would come after you" being a defence that works at least some of the time.
