It's not that funny, it's extremely predictable. Japanese companies are notoriously backwards, they don't like to implement new shit or try new methods for things, they get stuck in their old ways for years and the people in charge will not allow new things to happen so they stagnate faster. This is not a vtuber exclusive thing, Japanese game companies are somehow even worse too. If the oshispark people do a second, slightly bigger show that vastly improves on the first, I am absolutely not gonna be surprised. The main difference is budget, pretty much. And brand. People forgive Cover's retardation and fuckups because they love Hololive so of course the company can conveniently hide behind that, and they absolutely do. Even Niji is the same. They just do the same thing over and over and continue the status quo.

I'm not supposed to say this because /#/ is just global2 + drama, but if you actually take a step back and look at Cover you'll realize they're not doing anything new or "improving" anything, it's all the same formulaic stuff they've been doing since the start with very minor tech improvements to live shows and their studio 3D stuff, most of which they changed up like maybe 2 or 3 years ago already. I'm not saying this indie concert is super new and innovative but it's at least condensed fun and they can improve it and add more things without the same restrictions as other companies, the option to do more or to do something different is there and they can choose to take that route. Cover/Niji will absolutely NOT do that because the japanese way is to do one thing over and over.
