You can see something similar happen outside of hololive with Mint. She was in the infamously piece of shit sociopathic group known as NijisanjiEN but she left due to said sociopaths eventually turning on her because of course they did, that's their culture, but people still liked her as an individual so she still saw success as Mint. She's actually better now than when she was with a company. You will still get corporate cultists that literally only consume things made from their favorite company and they will never care about the person behind it, but for the most part real human beings do care and will follow the person upon their exit from the company.
