She would still have had a massive success for the simple reason that she was part of the first gen in a time of high demand and low competition. But then again, anybody would. If it wasn't her, another would have racked in the massive fanbase, the majority just needed somebody to latch on.

Completely disagree. RE4 vod was great, very little dead air and really showcased two things - that she can still be entertaining even when she sucks at a game by playing into her brattiness, and that she's really good at staying cognizant of her chat even when playing games.

I guess it's because of luck and time, mostly.
Hololive Myth was the time when Vtubers became huge, so her joining that group and having an already vocal following back as Senzawa gave her an insane boost.
As an actual streamer she's really nothing to write home about, cute voice but can't bring myself to watch one of her streams past 15 minutes. She's not a good entertainer.
Also some of the rrats I've read of her make her sound like a very careless person, especially her being a raging alcoholic.
