Kinstones are the biggest sidequest in it by a mile if that's what you mean by focus but it feels more passive rather than active with how you get kinstone drops and new NPCs as you go through the game regularly.
And I'd agree that by its nature it's not like a big satisfying mystery to solve or treasure to hunt and its more like opening pretty minor goodiebags.

Is there a good sauce of just a list of EN Twitch streamers I can follow? I see the Retro Chuubas list the OP posted is not current. I am one of the streamers in the thread trying to find /vrt/ girls to raid.

It won't be comprehensive unless twitch adds multiple category selection or a subcategory system. It's useful for raids because it shows people who are currently live (works regardless of stream end time) in a large category with a lot of variety. Eventually streamers will build a list of raid targets that fit their style themselves.

It's useful for that but for exampleI suspect the question was inspired by Rena_chuu raiding MissFushi yesterday for the first time and that being their 1st interaction. Rena had been playing Mega Man 2 before that and was in the Mega Man 2 category so merely checking retro yesterday wouldn't have found her if things were the other way around. Similarly Runa uses FF7 when she's playing that and Charlotte's using super mario 64 right now.
Retro chuubas do tend to group around the retro category of course most of the time and there isn't much more someone can do beyond doing as you say unless we want to go in and put something together ourselves.
