It was June 16 2021.

Holo Production staffs were doing their regular marketing campaign design.
One of them toils at their PC. Putting together visuals for the next big project; Project Hope.
A pair of Vtubers will make their debut soon.
IRyS. And- And...

The staff stops to think.
Hope is supposed to be a solo project. Then who is this second person in the files? Cover should've told em that earlier.

Kuzu. She was a beautiful design. Her hair as pink as cherry blossoms and her dress enticing.

The staff opens their email. Typing away to management. Asking about additional assets that were not there before. Sent. Back to the grindstone.

An email came in. Merely two minutes passed. Unusual for management.

The email looked urgent;

"Dear HoloPro,

Delete those assets immediately!

Regards,
Cover Corp."

Surprised, the staff went to the PC and proceeded to erase the image and model files.

None. It was only IRyS' assets all alone in their workstation. Revision history shows no tampering was made. Recycle bin, empty.

The day after, another staff mentioned seeing Kuzu on their computer. An MMD animation file.
Gone as soon as they turned their head around.

A day later, it was another asset. Her clothes. Found in the PC of HR. Again, gone without a trace.

By the end of that week, a package was delivered. A box. No addresses. No contacts. It smells rotten.

The staff immediately gathered around. A threat from a fan? Someone was brave enough to step forth and investigate.

He took out his knife, stab, and rip. The box contained scraps of paper and a photo frame. A funeral photo. Of an unknown girl.

The paper scraps were various designs and assets. Of Kuzu. Among them were shredded strands of a photo. The staff taped them together. The photo depicted the girl. Next to the actress that will portray IRyS. Next to the head of management.

As the staff were familiar with Asian culture, they immediately knew something is wrong.

Curious, they called higher management. Demanding an explanation.

Hope was supposed to be a duo. Another girl was to accompany IRyS. Internally called Lili. As per the flower names.

The girl who was supposed to become Lili, met an unfortunate and gruesome fate.

Died in an accident. On the night after she signed her contract. The car she was in crashed into a ravine.

The deadline was nearing. The designs were done. There wasn't enough time to replace her.

Lili and all her assets were purged.

Until she reappeared in the files.

The next day, her file reappeared. But she looked sad. Corrupted.

News on broke out. The artist who designed Lili took her own life. Guilt.

Ever since then, Lili'e files have a new name; Kuzu.
