Start with figure drawing. You can sketch out a character (assuming you want to draw Menace) off-rip if you want but you'll never break out of 45° angles or fucked up anatomy that way. Its better to start with your foundation and work your way up to details after. If youre looking to try digital, Start with a loose sketch and refine as you go into lineart and rendering.

Yea, good foundation skills overlap regardless of where you draw. Not every piece has to be full-body of course but it would help to have a good understanding of where the body bends and folds and figure drawing through art studies (Ina's streams can count since you'd just be studying her style) or just looking at bodies when you draw will help you achieve that. Remember its a slow climb and every artist is their own worst critic.

You're not trying to be some big, famous, digital artist, you're trying to show your appreciation for her. Learn the basics so you can be proud of what you show, but draw what you want to draw.
