The fundamental of it, it's really flawed. You need some hands, like with NOVA to really make it work, but you also need talent's own input to ensure that it works.
My biggest example, and when I noticed VShojo was really in the wrong and didn't see this issue, was with the valentine pairings, and it's a long rant.
See, NOVAs and Zen only make sense because one is a perfect unit, and the other is a talent alone. Kson and Henya while good, are overdone.
Everyone else as someone shoved in which has barely or in some cases HAS NEVER INTERACTED WITH ALL OF THEM.
Why is Michi with Mel, Hime and Mata? Mata I get, but why not drag Kuro out of Haruka and GEEGA (who are already a great pair and don't need Kuro shoved in). And put Michi and Kuro together, talents that yeah yeah, shipping, but have been proven to have an overlap of audience, K9s love Michi, and some 4skinz love Kuro.
Why are Mouse, Froot and Ama together when Mouse has never interacted with Ama on stream? Why a Mouse fan would want two talents who barely have a connection with Mouse, instead of idk Henya or even fucking Melody and Hime. Hell, put Mata and Ama together, it makes sense by the time this was released, or better yet, not do this shit. I have barely seen people who bought this, people would rather wait for when the talent is alone.

The voicepacks had themes to them and they chose who went into what theme which is why they're grouped together. Mel, Hime, Mata, and Michi were a space theme which fits everyone but Michi but she thought it sounded fun. Geega is also really close to both Kuro and Haruka so it makes sense she'd be with both of them even if most people think of Kuro and Michi when placing people together.

The only one of these that likely had little to no input was Froot, but even then Froot's a teadrinker and Ama's a teadrinker and Mouse has an outfit that's a teadrinker so they went together.
