Nobody is crashing out, people are just upset with Alana's comment because it's framed in a way that someone was wishing real life harm and/or trauma on her, which is just untrue if we're talking about /smug/. But as silly as it might sound there really is a difference between the rapeposting about her character and wishing/threatening real life harm upon Alana or anyone else. Also, unrelated to the topic of bad youtube videos but on the topic of Leaflit's video game development and people skills. What you didn't see if you're one of the people who watch her ttrpg games on stream that she DM's, she had a recent game on I believe it was Friday night/Saturday morning that went sour, was her having a massive meltdown on the players in her TTRPG's discord for like five hours after she party wiped the players in her PW/MMO style DND world thing that people literally pay $20 a month to be able to play in with hardcore style character rules in that dead characters stay dead.
She presented them with an encounter that the players considered unfair afterwards and a lot of people got upset about it and instead of apologizing for the encounter and the players having a bad time she proceeded to double down and berate them after the encounter ended when they approached her with complaints about it. Even going as far to tell them things like "I'm not a good player." but following that up with "I could have easily beat that fight [that she designed] with a party of [proceeds to list off her favored party comp consisting of the lead designer and her other friends who are story specific characters that get special favor]" instead of just apologizing for the poor experience.

I remember a few months back she wanted to the The Last of Us Part 2, and a bunch of viewers sperged out about it and started arguments in the chat and caused her to not play it, and she seemed too soft to let her mods bring the banhammers down. I'm sure many of those are the kind of people who took notice of her over the wizard game drama as Pikamee, and would be common in audiences like like Kirsche's. And those audiences raiding her just keeps perpetuating and reinforcing those breaks in the dome.
