Buy a xlr interface, I have the focusrite scarlet solo and I recommend it.
And get this mic, it’s a good starter mic and once you have some filters on it, it’ll sound really clean.
You can upgrade from there. I wouldn’t recommend using USB as the quality just isn’t there, it’s fine to start but you definitely want to go with an XLR interface at some point.

Also most xlr interfaces require very little set up, just a firmware update and it’s mostly plug and play. Just make sure you get one with phantom power as more xlr mics need power and don’t get it from just being plugged in.

I use a Scarlet Solo and there's a couple things. Depending on the power draw of that mic compared to my sm7b you may need a cloudlifter (don't buy an offbrand knockoff) or your audio will sound super quiet and muddy. Also, consider shelling out for the slightly better interface from the same maker. The solo is single channel audio only. That can be important if you intend to do anything more complicated than just talking on stream.

Bloom is like an exception in /cbdct/ because he's originally an /asp/ie and isn't a corpo, but he has a few regular posters and a sizable number of female viewers. He seldom collabs with female vtubers so he's generally well liked over there, but even when he does with things like the vtuber choir projects, he's professional enough that it doesn't bother the girls in that thread. He's a great example for /asp/ies to look to because he's a male vtuber doing completely his own thing separate from any group and he's been pretty successful at it

I'm going to try to lean into youtube videos (stream recaps, segments, etc) and shorts a bit more and see how that pays off I think.
