When I first watched vtubers, my kamioshi was Rushia. Loved her singing, gaming, and stories. Though I had to drop her since her schizo episodes got too strong. Since then I've been oshiless

There was a time when I kind of floated around without even an oshi, let alone a kamioshi. Suisei was always up there, but then the fateful day she stopped the chipmunk voice sealed the deal.

mine's gone and nothing, not even her reincarnation, will replace her. just like irl, when there's a whole in your heart, everyone who might fill it begin to look like (and might just turn out to be) whores. So far I've tried Ollie, Biboo, Nerissa, Ceci, Gigi, and Liz.
I'm dropping big bucks to see you in NYC, so they'll have to forgive my tactless candor, not trying to be rude just saying it like it is.
At this point I after this summer I'll step back from vtubers and just lurk the occasional comfy indie stream in favor of the whole idol corpo thing

In 2020 I just liked listening to her utawaku but years and years of memories of watching her struggles and overcoming those struggles have made a mountain.
All of a sudden I find I watch only her 80% of the time. And when she's not around because of sickness or work or moving, I can't watch anyone else cause it feels odd.

Because I can feel her emotions in my bones when she's singing, especially live. I love her member only karaokes, she's trying really hard to sound good even if she has to make 10 tries. Dianko Lastrea. She gives off this homely feeling and is a great singer. I like her taste in games and pon too. It's like watching an underground idol take her first steps, I just want to cheer her on.

a) she's a talented, entertaining, humble, genuinely feminine, emotional crybaby sweetheart
b) she's a white American and I want to cheer for my "home team"
c) I followed her content more closely than most when she was Zawa and it was sort of like finding a lost friend again years later when I got into vtubers a couple years back and realized who she was I was late to the party
d) we're about the same age and come from a similar "raised online but remembers the world before smartphones" Zillennial cultural background, she speaks my language
e) the fact that I relate to her so much makes me appreciate and admire everything she's accomplished despite being such a softie
f) she has some of the funniest and most deranged schizos and I love watching them eat L after L

g) she's clearly chosen by the divine for a special destiny and I want to watch it play out
