I'd say however, that one should tailor their persona to the audience they want, and set expectations early. Let's just be honest, as people who enrich ourselves into communities and foster them, you're gonna eventually involve yourself into your community, both because as social creatures if you involve yourself in something long enough even if you play a persona, pieces of you spill out, and because only creators who usually involve themselves with their communities survive. Being purely transactional and completely hands off nearly always has poor reception. Its why whatever argument people make about being parasocial falls flat when the biggest most popular people have elements where they, the audience, or both have those elements. Or it goes beyond that and its outright just social. So the rest is just setting boundaries and expectations, then being smart about what you put online.
