Both Sakuna and Delu are extreme introverts so they won’t collab with anyone unless approached first, and even then, it’s possible they’ve declined due to said introversion(If I recall, Delu’s expressly said she declined a collab with Kson awhile back for this very reason).
The EN tubers have no reason to collab with the JP tubers because of the obvious Language barrier.
Ruka and Rei have barely even been around for long enough to collab with anyone.

Aqua's only friend within exholos is shion, and even during shion's 1 year hiatus, she kinda lost contact with her. Aqua does have a problem of not contacting her friends when time goes longer and it becomes awkward to suddenly contact them again. That's why her best friend is kagura mea who always keep contact with her actively.

Been contemplating doing an oshihen as I find myself watching the EN side more now since they seem much more pumped, energetic and interwoven. Don't know why the JP side is lagging lightyears behind on such a simple concept; maybe others are right that the ones who have left so far weren't all that close with one another, maybe its some cultural thing in japan to be more insular rather than namedrop and collab left, right and center like the EN girls have been. Same I'm disappointed that the JP ex-Holo side hasn't come together to do anything. Though I wouldn't say all hope is lost. Sakuna barely streams so it might just be her who is hard to plan things with. Ruka at least has HInata so she has some one to play multiplayer stuff with. But hopefully Shion coming can bring Sakuna/Ruka together since she has good history with both Chloe and Aqua. We will have to see. And now we have Rei in the mix so we still gotta see what she can do for the ex-holo indie space.

To be honest I'm sort of disappointed in that model. Shion had a kusogaki model kusogaki voice and kusogaki manners. It was perfect. Now we get a rather generic dope-ish looking catgirl x something creature.
All in all, in my book:
A-chan >= Rei : I think Rei's model is pretty fine but just a plain OL is a refreshing idea in the world of over the top vtuber models.
Aqua > Sakuna : Aqua had that signature feel of unpolished retardation, Sakuna is more generic. Again, didn't have to be a catgirl. We'll what she gets for her model change, though.
Dooby > Ame.
Chibi Nimi >>> Big Nimi >= Fauna.
Chloe ~ Ruka : no strong opinion on either. Chloe was sleazier, Ruka is cuter.
Gura ~ Saba : dislike both models. Rhombus shark vs. the unspecified creature with a fish tail and ??? ears.

Aqua was never a big collab streamer, you can count collabs for her on both hands each year. Also sakuna talked about collabs, she will only collab if people reached out to her.

Adding cat ears as an optional model toggle after debut is fine. It makes sense as a fun add-on. Having your model be "a dragon, and also a cat!" from day 1 is a little jarring. Feels too much like some furry teenager's Cat-Wolf (who is also a Demon!) Original Character Do Not Steal.

The random cat ears isn't THAT bad, but does remind me of it.
In the end, the chuuba's personality and content matters 10x more than their model. I'll still watch her if she's entertaining.

They're not that isolated, not as much as you think. There is a former Holo discord. We know from the Mike drama that Delu does DM them and offer support and advice, Kson does as well, Rica was always lurking DMs in hololive.
