What's one thing you've wanted to do on stream but either don't know how or just don't think you have the means to do it? I feel like what restrains a lot of creativity in aspies is just not knowing where to start or what to do to actually make the things they want without imagining they need infinite money.

I think it falls mostly within the not having the tools to do it, I always wanted to use a 3D tracking full suit to even get my hands captured; with that I would be capable of communicating more effectively due to body language and accompanying hand gestures.
If that possibility was open, the similar options like using VR to make my whole aspiration of explaining stuff in a more comprehensible manner could also be done thanks to that.
But I don't really think that it is something I don't get nor I don't have the other means to do, it's just a matter of time and getting to the place in life in which I will be capable of doing those things, since the financial situation will be solved in some years/handful of months.

There is a way that you can set up most things in the most popular crowd control extension, people can get more than a handful of redeems + a lot of points to do other stuff and all of that for free. You can also add some big redeems for those who might be willing to support the stream with some $$$ :3
Another option are games that are openly available, lobbies and groups to play with friends make the whole ordeal a very accomplishable objective since, at this point in time, the nigh infinity variety of f2p online games out there allows for almost all communities and niches to have different gathering points; maybe you just need to look for the one that would satisfy you and your community?
Another option are those single player games where viewers get to interact through votes, redeems, and chat messages (like cult of the lamb, the multitude of games with already integrated twitch APIs and whatnot) and similar that don't require the viewers to do anything on their end and allow both ends, streamer and viewers, to find satisfaction from the possibilities that these games offer them in terms of interactability and participation!
Sometimes the mainstream market fails to highlight these gems for streamers, but if you look into it with patience you will find enough options ^^

Hello! Hope everyone is well! Gunpla/plamo handcam streams should return by end of August/early September (assuming a kit doesnt get funded through Throne earlier >.>) with the next being the RG Burning Gundam. That said in the meantime I want to upgrade my handcam setup and have a question. Someone suggested I get 2 light sources and have the opposite of each other, so I'll be on the hunt for that, but in the meantime, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a top-down camera holding setup? I've currently got the webcam to my left, and much farther away from me, so oftentimes I have to work on pieces away from the camera. I want to bring the camera closer to me and in front instead of the side, so I'm looking for some kind of way to mount a webcam so the view is better and more of the build can actually take place on screen. Only reason I dont use a mini-tripod is cause I'm scared I'm gonna knock it over on accident. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

There's a lot of options and they kinda depend on your desired level of interaction and how engaged your chat is. Your can set up redeems that do OBS only interactions that manipulate you and the stream but not necessarily the game source itself. Something as simple as a button that triggers a random effect on stream with some thematic name or description. (The Australia Module turns your stream upside down for a period of time, The Air Conditioning Module triggers a foggy glass and snow filter, etc.) Those are more immersive if you design your stream overlay to integrate your model (thus yourself) directly into the gameplay even if the game itself does not acknowledge the integration. You're the one putting on the show after all.

I think it's the first time I ever hear and see anything about this thing, and I might be completely wrong because I only saw so much just now to try and grasp how it works; but it seems to be not that good for hand motions and whatnot? Flipping the screen is easy. Put your main streaming scene into a different scene as a scene source. Apply a Source Move filter to the scene source to rotate it 180 degrees. Set that same filter to reset after a period of time so you don't have to manually unflip. Set a cooldown so that it doesn't conflict with other filters or itself.
