Just checked and while it's definitely a result of their seething, it looked like it was sparked by a shitposter.
I wish people would just leave them alone so they don't get riled up and make me remember they exist.
It's been over a year and our girls are doing fine without them and have been doing their best to overwrite whatever bad memories were there with good ones. It's just not worth being angry anymore since they've been effectively de-fanged.

The only two things she'd be able to do in Holo that she can't do as an indie is perform at Holofes every March; and the EN concert every August, if she were to join Holo EN instead of Holo JP or DEV_IS (she's NSL, but fluent enough in Nihongo to join one of the two JP-language branches)
But spoiler alert - she's not gonna join Cover without getting some sort of "you can continue being Mint Fantome and also be allowed to generally do your own thing to some extent" deal similar to what Suisei got back in the day. If Mint got such a sweetheart deal, it would probably also include the "not joining Hololive proper" part that Suisei's contract initially had

Honestly the better question would be "What if Doki joined holo?" It's about as equally likely (zero) but would be a far more interesting discussion, considering her drive for organizing events, is extremely well connected to not only various corporations like Bandai, NetEase (Marvel Rivals, etc), and Hyte but also with pro players in both FPS and fighting games now.

She'd effectively be the driving force between keeping the branch involved with both each other and the outside world. Basically Ame with a work ethic and bigger dreams.

Though if she was in the early gens she'd probably get just as worn down by the antis as Ame did and burn out just like she did, so it really is a blessing it never happened.

She would have been a top EN Holo if she had made it in during the golden age, but at this point I don't think she'd have the energy for it.
And yeah whatever model they gave her would be worse than her current one. Even if they brought in Ayamy and she came out with a banger design, Cover would cheap out on the rigging.
