Juri anon anti air diary day 10

Yesterday I did the drill "exam": This time I counted every hit and the objective was to reach 100. After a few tries I got the ball rolling and did a whooping 175 successful hits in a row.
Admittedly it was the easiest drill I could possibly do but now I know I in fact over trained: 3 consecutive days or so should be enough to reach 100. The month I gave myself was too much.
Now of course this is just the low bar. Long ago i saw a clip of daigo I cant find in which they asked him how long does he practice a particular drill, he said "until i no longer have to think about it" .
I think the day is still off when I can check rushes without thinking about them, but that is no matter.
Now I can add one more layer of difficulty to this exercise: besides jumping and drive rushing, I will try to punish a crmk and also a throw thrown randomly. This will hopefully rid me of the habit of walking backwards without trying to check stuff
In theory, I should be able to reach 100 consecutives in a week but lets see how much changing the difficulty changes the adaptation period

the concept is easy to grasp, the more outcomes you need to react to differently, the less brain capacity each can use, and the less effective the neutral choice WAITING is
to reduce the strain of thoughts, you need to choose a smaller number of outcomes (preferably only two) to focus on, depending on the situation. if you're in neutral, you can choose which situation you'd rather be in, that's the intention part
i'll skip the boring and badly written explanation to these concepts to offer you better alternatives for your drill, if you really want to add some more difficulty to it:
- a dash
- a back and forward motion
- a forward and back
- a forward only
it will significantly makes reading jumps harder

it's just shooting mode, rushing in throw if opponent parries, and assist med combo.
Higuchi taught her to be simple with her plan and slowly improved as she learnt (kinda like Karubi).
That's the difference of Japanese SF6. You can have people that pick up the game really fast and know about frame and all the techs ever, but you also have people that doesn't know much about the game and still improving over time.

she's definitely the slow child in the Guile's village tbհ. Even Kazuyo switched to classic and showed improvement. That being said she was plat for a long time and keep losing in tournament (in semi-beginner tier) but it's not like she's staying in one place forever not learning anything.
That said missing the overhead and occasional misinput somersault hurt a hell lot.

Yesterday I did the whiff punish exam: Unlike last time, it was only two days of training, but it were intense two days since I did it for several hours, and also while fasting
The procedure was simple: one record for jumping, one record for cr mk, and I need to punish them 100 times in an hour or less.

The results were disappointing but expected: I was only able to do 50 times in a row.
However because of how human memory works I expect the "training days" memories to consolidate as I sleep so I will try "testing" again tomorrow and the day after and track how the memory consolidation is progressing if progressing
This might also have to do with the fact that I did while after fasting so I suspect I was depleted mentally: matters not, for the idea was to test under extreme conditions. Also later on it occurred to me the exercise might have been harder then the jump/ check drive rush drill so I should had tested that beforehand to make a control group: if I hadnt been able to reach 100 with that one either it was a result of my physical state, if I did it easily, it was because the exercise was harder or the memories had not consolidated
In any case, I will report tomorrow

I redid the "exam" today and managed to get to 100+ exactly once in 40 minutes, and several times I was close.
Guess a night of sleep and having starved myself today did the job.
Tomorrow I will repeat the test to see how much it improves after another day

As another note there seems to be a warming up period" needed to reach maximum potential: it took me 13 minutes to reach 100 in the rush/jump excersise which i previously mastered so now before exams i will do warm ups for 10 minutes before I begin the test.

Tonight I will start learning the last drill of the three" rush/whiff , and then afterwards Its time for actual neutral training with the dummy and myself moving back and forth
