I honestly really don't get why they're pushing the whole "green and yellow" thing. Like, Doki and Dooby makes sense, they're kind of kindred spirits but with Nimi it makes a lot less. Most of her fans are the type to just find Doki irritating, and fundamentally what they want is just more streams only including ex-Hololive members. They don't really like or want outsiders like Doki or Mint, which is fine, they kind of have their own "spheres" where they can function independently and cater to their own audiences tastes well, so why try and force some kind of "supergroup" that just invites shitposting and tribalism from the larger fanbases? The issue only gets worse if Saba gets involved as well (think napling tribalism on double or triple the scale), Doki already has enough issues with antis from her past, so why gamble with the risk of getting new antis from flying too close to the sun on the ex-Holo side too?
Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I just don't see how this can go well for any of them, and it's weird because all of them are more than capable of doing just fine on their own. They cater to different types of vtuber fans and it works.

I choose to see it as Doki's expansion of her circles of her own initiative, and so I consider it good. She's already elaborated on why it's difficult for her to trust people several times in the past so this is growth for her, even if it's baby steps. Sloppy Sisters feels like the friend group she was always meant to have so I support it wholeheartedly. Dooby is cute and Nimi's presence switches things up like a friend-of-a-friend entering the scene on episode 5 of a series. If Doki wants to do it and Nimi is down to figure out a dynamic, I don't mind it at all. There's literally nothing wrong with trying out collabs with different people, Doki's shotgun collabs is what helped lead to the creation of the sloppies in the first place. You can't find treasure if you don't do exploration. Besides, the friction doesn't even come from Dragoons anyway so there's no need for Dragoons to be weird about it, if you ask me. If the chuubas get to be silly together on stream, that's fine. If fans really have a problem, they should superchat their oshi and go "HEY I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN YOU COLLAB WITH X" since chuubas aren't mind readers.
