Hardly an idol then. The problem with HoloEN is that the west, even the weeb west, never had a real idol culture. The idol culture people reference is one that is entirely pulled out of their own ass and used to shut down criticism. Being an idol is truly being an entertainer dedicated to your craft and producing the best performances you possibly can. Having relationships isn't as important as the fact that you're playing around and dividing your attention. It's a concept almost incomprehensible to the west.
What you get with HoloEN is a bunch of streamer thots that just want to stream and rake in the cash.
The death threats aren't even that bad. A lot of women online get worse, and they don't even have to be famous. Normally you brush it off and call them stupid or something, just turn of the computer etc, but you only care now because it's your oshi. Selective virtue and empathy is neither virtue nor empathy at all.
