It's super bumpy to just try out OSRS or most MMOs real casual like for one or two streams. It's a very foreign control scheme and feel, there's so much to read and ultimately there really isn't all that much to see and do initially. It only starts opening up with the more quests you complete and activities you unlock which isn't until like week two or three of casual play which is a big ask for a variety streamer.

It's a relatively short funny game, so she might enjoy it.
I noticed Dianko doesn't seem to have favorite genres, she likes anything as long as it's funny, has interesting mechanics or good music (seems to be more important than graphics). She also prefers riddles over combat. Monkey Island checked all the boxes.

the last AC game on ps3 (last-gen) was AC: Rogue.
it was released at the same time as AC: Unity (next-gen ps4 at thetime) so that the poors could have their yearly AC fix
Rogue wasn't a bad game though, it was a refined, slightly simplified version of the AC4 formula with the ship battles, exploration and all
but because it was mostly samey as AC4 it wasn't reviewed very well, people just felt like it was more of the same thing

Been going through the retro game tubers that are regularly posted here and this is exactly the kind of stuff I'd been looking for. I love discovering cool old shit I've never heard of, whether its media deep dive type stuff or games. Now I just gotta get off my ass and finally learn how to emulate.

On a side note, are there any chuubas with similar exploration focus, but with music (new or old)? The only one I can think of that sometimes does that is Chikafuji Lisa, and thats only sometimes

I can’t think of any personally but it is out of my wheelhouse. I would figure music is trickier because of how copyright claim and blocking systems work on streams and videos. I know vtubers like Ami and Ronja do themed karaoke sets relatively often, Freya and Bloom both sing most streams even when retro gaming with Bloom being a music teacher so he gets into discussion of the history and style of the songs too. Kadalyn is a small sheeptuber that does reverse engineering of the songs and code of some retro game music itself. Not sure if any of that is really what you were asking.

True! Dianko is very passionate about singing and performing and is usually doing some every week. Nina, Freya and Ashton sing on stages too. On the JP side Serenade regularly lives up to her name and Nemu plays Piano, Patra sometimes plays her guitar. Alker sings and plays guitar too. But I’m not sure how much that gets into the music history or theory discussions.
