Might have also rotated around who got payed on time. After she did merch with Mata and was weirdly the only indie in this maid Cafe event (there is even an image of her piloting a robot surrounded by cutouts of all the girls) I thought for sure she was /in/. But after months of her not debuting and not really having frequent collabs with the girls I wrote it off as VShojo and Mata just being nice and helping her get back on her feet. Later when it was discovered that the backend of her store was through VShojo, she had so much success without VShojo at that point I just assumed it was another minor thing VShojo decided to help her with. I swear 80% of the indie scene was under an NDA not to disparage the company, so it really was easy to just buy into the idea of VShojo helping just to be nice and maybe gain a little extra good will. They did such a good job of hiding that things were rotten behind the scenes. Even Holos and Nijis let things slip when things were going poorly in their respective companies, but Nyan, Vei, and Silver were only allowed to make it seem like they left over money.
