In many ways this is far worse than what happened with NijiEN last year. Although that was particularly heinous, with the company driving someone to attempt suicide, it was still somewhat contained. People rightly sided with Dokibird and turned on Niji, but it was more just in support of her and in many cases people stayed more or less neutral. This shit has personally effected so many chuubas, so many large chuubas, and therefore tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands?) of fans. Truly apocalyptic scale.
