Pre-hack we were still slow, but had very active dedicated posters like South Korean anon who always kept the threads alive. I think we're in a nice place now where threads go at a reasonable pace.

Numi went into it a bit on a youtube stream I think: people were worried about what could happen if they raised a stink about it and weren't too sure about the process etc. Some girls had it rougher than them since they got offers or opportunities in the year that passed, but held off thinking it would pay off. At the very least, getting denied by these big corpos let a lot of the girliepops appreciate their community a lot more and want to fulfill their own kind of success.
