The market is substantially smaller and that's why you find most of the bigger male vtubers usually pander towards that 20% female demographic because they're way more likely to watch you and give you money.

Tired of repeating it over and over again but ad breaks are the way to go. Everyone has the attention span of a goldfish. Would you watch a 5 second ad just to watch a tiktok short? No, you would click off immediately. 90% of the time I click on someone with pre rolls I leave. That's a person who didn't bother to give you a chance because you got some good awful reason think that just having 3 minutes of designated as time that you can essentially control is worse than throwing everyone 30 second ads as soon as they click into you.

It's been proven statistically how bad prerolls are for channel growth. You can't opt out of ads once you've hit Affiliate, but you can make them less offensive to your random viewers, and you're only losing pennies for doing so.
