This is perfectly in line with both of their characters. Dooby has always been a lot more candid whereas Saba by contrast is walled off and will pretty much never speak off the cuff about something. She isn't going to talk about it until she knows exactly what she's going to say about it. If it makes her uncomfortable enough, she might not talk about it at all.
