That isn’t a possibility and location doesn’t matter. It always shows the ping to the server at something around 50ms or lower anyway.
I’ve hooked up an external input recording program to make sure it isn’t just me, and it isn’t. It’s just straight up dropping inputs where they definitely exist. It isn’t even a rollback thing because it happens in situations where nothing would have interrupted me

Juri anon anti air diary day 16

Today I broke the record and now I did 200 whiff punish anti airs in a row.
I am not entirely sure what exercise to do next.
These drills alone increased my MR permanently by 50 or so, now I went from being in the 1600- 1700 bracket to the 1650- 1750
Sadly, this is not enough to be ultimate master yet.
I feel im much stronger but it isnt enough
Another thing is that i have gotten exceedingly good in reading patterns. I think this is because, as I was told many times but didnt listen, now that my brain doesnt have to think about anti airing all the time I can actually watch what is going on
I think now i will do the cr hp anti air drill I started these to begin with

once you got the basics down, it's time to practice matchups
either you go at it like a hermit, going character per character in training mode, learning their advantages and disadvantages states in detail
or you use the power of the FT10:
one FT10, go over the replays, note where you got beaten, reproduce, destroy, another FT10
entering tourneys is also a good exercise, to learn how to manage pressure. It can also help you experience fully the gameplan of a character, because a FT2/3 under pressure is not the same FT2/3 on ranked, they need to be effective immediatly to win, meaning they'll take out the big guns immediatly.
you'll also be playing stronger players from the get go, adding to your experience

- drive rush check from pure neutral
- proper shimmy: I let too many throws go unpunished on reaction
- reacting to DI
- learning the timing on interrupting light punch into medium which i somehow always do wrong

On specific matchups I guess now I have to get used to parrying cammy divekicks since now my first instinct is to auto psycrusher

you always do wrong because it's too fast to be properly reacted to
you can react to its stimulus (the hitstop), don't get me wrong, but to understand it is a light your opponent just did is practically impossible
SF6 is a game of choices, and it is a choice here: do you take your turn back after a neutral normal move or not?
you WILL learn the proper spacing WHERE the lights are used, and respond consequently, but not because you necessarilly reacted properly to the frametrap

if something works, continue to do it
trying to adapt to the adaptation of your opponent when they don't adapt will fuck your rhythm
it's hard to do, trust me

Meh. Despite horrendous netcode, I ranked up. Hooray. I just wish it felt like an accomplishment rather than compensation for all the victories that I got robbed of.
