Why are all Vtuber CEOs like this they all make the same fucking mistake 30 other people did. They all watch the others go " I can do the quintuple spinning backflip and stick the landing" and then watch as they fall flat on their face and say" gee greater men than me have tried and failed to do what I'm about to do and but I like my chances" they are all like this Fish man I'm begging you don't fuck up you're the last hope

You just describe humanity and the human ego in a nutshell. I believe the phrase was, monkey see, monkey do?

Tech and startup field is built on egos; something you need in order to get venture capital funding. You have to wow investors into giving you millions in funds for a few years with the *hope* of recouping the money put in.

Iโ€™ve worked with numerous startups helping to build their branding, collateral and software UI/UX and nearly all have the same personality type. Honestly, of the dozens Iโ€™ve worked with only a select few have lasted after 3 years and thatโ€™s because they were extremely selective with expenditures.

Would a mexican drug cartel or saudin oil prince run vshojo much better?

This is how all managers think. Every young idiot that gets promoted to a position of power immediately says, "Boomers are stupid, I'm going to do some new management technique that I read about in a book which is completely wild and chaotic because we are the new generation!" And then they fuck everything up and just leave the company and the new idiot that gets his position does the same shit. I don't know what they are teaching in business school, but I've seen this scenario play out three times in my career.

Fishman got rich before he started the company and was aggressive about keeping Phase within its means. He's also married, I believe.
Surprising fact: Phase will outlast Hololive.

It's probably true. Regardless of what they were doing before, now they're run by random entertainment execs who don't know this particular product very well.

I probably saw this same thing being said about Vshojo, Niji and any other vtuber company for years. While I do like Phase to a certain extent and I do think fishman is doing a good job, we all know that Hololive is in a very solid place.
