I get back office and administration requires a certain amount of people behind the curtains, but THIS is jusy Gunrun literally having no idea how to run a business. I'm almost starting to believe the version of the story that he didn't actually steal the money, he's just such an inept administrator/manager that he could fuck up a cup of coffee. When you're idea of dealing with business or monetary problems is ghosting or lying to your employees while hoping the problem solves itself. I think he never intended Vshojo to get as big as he did so he panicked while going along with the ride.
