Memory is a complicated problem with LLMs, it's constantly being tweaked with slight improvements but even cutting edge models have various memory problems.

In practice what you usually have is the prompt, (Your name is Neuro, you are an AI streamer, your creator is Vedal, etc) the context,(aka full text logs of the current conversation/stream) and something like archival memories the LLM can try to retrieve as needed. LLMs (and Neuro) have gotten better at handling larger contexts, which is why Neuro can generally remember shit that happened on stream as opposed to when she couldn't remember what anyone said two sentences ago, but it gets increasingly flaky the more the context gets longer, and long term memory is a whole other thing. .
