I’ve mapped a graph of the scale of the sillygirls. Remember, these are all VTubers, so this is more like a scale that takes into consideration the fact that they’re VTubers.

Ch4i: 100% the most normie out of the group. Her taste in games is very girl-gamery. She does cosplay though, and she’s caught up on the latest anime, which makes her more of an otaku, but a surface-level female one. She seems to be the most innocent about internet culture compared to the others. Safely lewd with the feet stuff, but too pure for anything extreme.

Mikan: I think she’s weirder than she lets on in her streams, but she can still integrate into society and socialize just fine. Her weirdness is just different from the others, it’s more Tumblr and that side of internet culture. Her game taste is great, and her taste in anime is decent as well, though I’m not sure how much she keeps up with it. She’s still a nerd though, you can tell- Linux user, after all.

Neppie: She comes from a family of otakus and artists, so she must be up to date and familiar with all things anime, whether she likes it or not. If the Portal 2 streams tell us anything, it’s that she’s way more intelligent than she lets on. With her knowledge of internet culture too, I think she also knows more than she shows. I’ve heard her and Kiki reference things that really surprised me.

Kiki: Definitely the weirdest girl in the group. She hides her power level a lot more these days, but still, with some of her references, these are things you’d only know if you’ve been on the weirder side of the internet and been chronically online for a long time. From what I know about her anime knowledge, it seems more limited. Kiki seems like the type to just stick to what she likes when it comes to anime and music, she re-watches and re-listens to what she already knows she enjoys. So her knowledge feels narrower than the others’, but she’s just a nerd.

I mean all of this in the most endearing way possible. Each of them wouldn’t be them without these differences in qualities and knowledge. It’d be boring if they were all the same.

Nah, it does bother me in general. These past few years have been the most lonely I've ever felt in my life. It didn't used to bother me being alone but now I have to constantly try not to think about those sorts of things or I'll immediately spiral. I used to have family and I guess that was enough to keep me happy back then but everyone is dead or out of my life now.

I just realized at one point how much I wanted a family of my own and it's likely never going to happen at this point. Socializing is totally fucked now. There's nothing particularly wrong with me, I'm just not what most women these days are interested in and trying to find someone who would appreciate me for who I am seems like worse odds than winning the lottery.

I mean my grandpa remarried in his 60s and had 2 more kids, it's not like it's hard for guys to start a family later in life if they really want to. I wouldn't really worry about "most women" either, you don't need to appeal to every woman, you just need to find one that appreciates you and that has a compatible personality and whatnot. Getting out and finding someone is hard later in life when you're not constantly forced into social situations though, I'll give you that, but you don't need to lose hope if it's something you really want.

i don't want a wife and kids. sure i can come up with a fantasy scenario based on that which i would like, but that only accounts for ~20% of the reality and i don't want the rest. all the effort, lack of freedom... i'm far too lazy and selfish for that, and i can find meaning in life without it.

however i'm aware that i am only at liberty to make this choice if most of society lives normally. there is only so many parasites such as myself that society can endure without the cons starting to outweigh the pros. yes there are genuine pros to not have -everyone- reproducing btw. so it is not in my interest, nay it is against my interest, to convince others to live like me. that's what feminists and such get wrong. women want to have their cake and eat it too, to do what they want AND get social approval for it, but i digress.

i'll just be over here doing my thing.

I think that's a perfectly valid choice and honestly think it's even a bit unfair to characterize those who abstain from reproducing as parasites. You're still contributing to the current society even if you're not actively helping to create the next generation, and if people feel like not enough kids are being born they're more than capable of making more themselves. Honestly I think leaving that stuff to those who actually want it is probably healthier anyway, like people who actively want to become parents will naturally make better ones and put more passion and effort into raising their kids.

yeah i kind of structured it as an argument in between traditional gender roles and libertarianism. i do believe the default strategy is default for a reason, that's what should get you societal approval, but trads shouldn't go too far demonizing alternative lifestyles either. there is room for both in appropriate ratios.
