The fact remains that most of the people who were upset by this were not expecting or hoping for Nimi to be their fucking girlfriend. You create this strawman to attack because you don't want care what they're feeling or why they're feeling it. You jump at the most convenient inaccurate representation that also allows you to insult these men and act like you've got it all figured out. For most people it wasn't what the lie revealed that was the problem. It was the lie to begin with. A lie through omission is a lie. She is not ignorant of the expectations of her audience, and she knew that truthfulness would mean that she would no longer meet those expectations. So neglecting to divulge relevant information to that audience would avoid the consequences she didn't want. She's not stupid. She knows that men would be more generous with her if she didn't mention she was in a relationship. She's not the only streamer or vtuber that does this. It's common sense for women that they can take advantage of men by allowing them to develop a misunderstanding.

Because what I'm saying is true. It doesn't make her some sort of evil person that is beyond redemption or deserves to burn in hell or something like that.
