Matara was the one who took Gunrun's bribe or fell for his scam, and then after that Matara convinced Minto to leave Nijisanji started grooming her for Gunrun. Four months after that was when Mint made an agreement with Gunrun to groom some new girls for his hustle in favor of getting her own idol unit.
