As someone who watches both HoloEN and StarsEN, here's what I know:
- Magni is the only one to mention Omega, and it was to say he wasn't a manager, though with how he said it it's possible he meant he wasn't their direct manager. (It fits if Omega was the full EN branch manager, they wouldn't report to him.) Otherwise yeah, no one's ever mentioned Omega by name.
- Altare and Axel talked about the early days of their branch last year and it's really fucking similar to early Myth & CouncilRyS: their managers weren't told what they could/couldn't do, projects/stream ideas shot down because *shrugs* (similar to Mumei's history streams, Altare wanted to do a book club but got rejected, and I swear one of them wanted to do something similar to Sana's weekly kusoge stream idea and got rejected), all of them having extremely barebones streaming assets at debut, etc. It reads too much like the branch was overseen in the exact same way that Myth started with almost none of the lessons learned there applied.

Vtuber "lore" is like plot in porn. You expect it to be there, but also expect to almost always ignore it. It works best when it's some semi-unique backdrop that you can riff on, a source of themes for visuals, for inside jokes and wordplay with fans, or with other talents, etc.
Lore works best when it augments the things a vtuber needs to actually do to succeed: BE ENTERTAINING ON STREAM.
Omega gave me the sense that he wanted to take it too far, like it was supposed to grow into a motherfucking cinematic universe, and all of the plot of the lore had to fit together consistently to grow into some grand world or story. Omega had an iron grip on the EN branch but in general management wants total control over their lore. That led to several amusing ENreco lore videos which clearly had zero input from the talents.
