It helps, but I would say if you're going to watch both try to keep YT unmuted and focused, and Twitch muted and in the background. My understanding is Twitch is a lot less strict and will count a viewer even if it's muted, in a background tab, etc, while YT tends to filter out viewers on various criteria, so making that the "main" one you're watching means you're more likely to give Kiki the view and boost her in the algo so other viewers can find her more easily.

I know some people do but honestly I just think lying on applications isn't worth it, for two reasons. First, the obvious that if they find out even after you've been hired, you can be terminated for cause, and that will be hanging over you your entire career if it's a provable lie. But also, even if that doesn't happen... if you claim qualifications you don't have you're creating expectations that they're going to have of you in the workplace. I know some people don't mind that or are ok with "faking it until they make it" but that kind of shit is just insanely stressful to me, I'd rather just keep looking until I find a job with expectations in line of what I can actually do.

I think it's honestly kind of asinine to ask "why" any particular streamer hasn't hit it big. Most streamers don't, or even if they do most of them don't until they manage to find some golden opportunity and get catapulted into that point. It's not the kind of job where if you just do all the right things you're guaranteed success. There are a lot of random factors outside your control. The best you can really do is be persistent and be ready to capitalize on your opportunity when it comes, because I've seen more than my share of vtubers who actually did have a chance to hit it big and squandered it and wound up right back where they were too.
