Anon they couldn't have done one in 2022 because Japan wasn't letting people in until way too late(Cover actually paid for mocap studios near where they live for their fes appearances) and 2023 was a clusterfuck for lives basically across the board including JP, not even taking in account Gura and Ame were already starting to go MIA very often by then. I don't blame them for leaving since not everyone has the same tolerance for bullshit though.
Advent on the other hand were the first EN gen to actually have proper debuts from the start. There was no covid and no Omega so they were able to hire girls who knew what they were getting into and were able to actually able to meet up pre debut and bond. Also management has been able to organize things properly from the start since they didn't have to worry about borders suddenly closing again. You can see parallels with HoloX and Advent with how things are handled.
Just be happy Mori was able to navigate all that early bullshit to atleast get herself tons of opportunities.

No I can't actually, because their sister gen was CouncilRyS, and they reaped the benefits of having stuff like having 3D debuts before Council did (despite them debuting earlier) got full-gen ad-ons and shit for their models (like those weird helmets) and got to participate in Holosummer of 2022
CouncilRys - HoloX is probably one of the more clear cases of a gen getting a bunch of perferital treatment due to being in JP, like not even Gen 5 - Myth was that egregious and they both debuted during the peak of COVID
