then, on 31st my 1st video was watched as well even thought it should be irrelevant?
also i sumbitted them on sundays and both were watched 30 mins after sending the form
they claim that thousands have applied ?? is it normal for them to be active 24/7 and instantly review auditions when they claim so many come in?

How are people still not used to how auditions work at this point.

Some intern will click the video to see if it works, watch a few seconds to get an idea. If approved, it goes into the next watch pile. That person will overview and if again, approved and will go into another pile. If 2000 plus people applied like the social media implies, you gotta accept you likely ain't shit to the actual people who tried

Calm the fuck down, and just WAIT.
They watch them on batches and always have a first filter intern whose job is to check the link works, the video isn’t a shitpost (so they watch it for like 5 to 20 seconds) and that it was unlisted, then it moves on to getting an actual review later on by someone higher up.
Stop looking at how many clicks you got or how long they watched it. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is getting that email.

Rule number 1 of applying to corpos is always that as soon as you send it, out of sight, out of mind.
Go back to doing your regular VTuber content or whatever content creation thing you do (art, music, etc) and focus on that.
Obsessing over the audition is not gonna do you any favors and will make you go menhera like you’re doing right now. Just forget about it until emails are sent and you can see if you got in or not.

if they really got a thousand or more applications, each one of them 5 minutes or shorter, you could do about 30 in an hour, 8 hour shift, 8 x 30 = 240, they tweeted they want a few more days to watch all of them and decide so they are going to watch some that they think are promising, cut that to maybe 500, decision time by the guys upstairs, and here you go

The cutting down takes a lot longer than you think unless only like 5 good people applied and the rest were a bunch of people who've never streamed before (which there's always a good chunk applying for whatever reason).
They have to really look into it and narrow it down a lot, they don't wanna have to interview a ton of people.

You really think they're gonna pick someone with no experience as a content creator? Corpos always say that for a few reasons:
1. Maybe nobody applies, in that case then they'd need to pick literally anybody, but its pretty obvious that real VTubers have applied to Izi just looking at their replies and followers.
2. Free promotion, people will retweet and follow and shit thinking it's a good opportunity for a nobody, same reason why corpos accept "all genders" but only debut one.
3. It's hard to define what counts a content creator. Are you a content creator if you only streamed once? Or only made one video 5 years ago? What if you just now start streaming? That's why they rather phrase it as "experience is a bonus", which might've been true in like 2018, but nowadays, experience is a requirement. You are competing against other people with actual experience, what do you think you'll offer that they don't? If you are both equally talented, they're gonna go with the one that has streamed before, knows how to use OBS and actually knows they like streaming because they've done it already.
4. The very very very rare case of someone actually talented or unique that has never streamed before.

If you applied with 0 experience and think you're gonna make it past the first filter, you are actually retarded. THAT'S the first filter.

For the people applying? Yes
For the corpo? lolno, they literally have questions about content creation experience, several. They ask for social media links and follow numbers/maximum number of people you've streamed to.
If people put nothing in there, they're canned.
They MIGHT give their videos a watch but if they aren't impressed 10 seconds in, you're out.

Why have you never streamed? Why have you never made a video ever?
Why don't you post your art or song covers online, or whatever other talents you have?

It's the same as asking a random person if they'd like to be a Hollywood actor or famous singer, like 99% of people will say yes because it sounds like an easy/fun job and make a shitton of money. But how many of those are actually putting the effort to make it a reality?
That's the same situation, people (usually VTuber fans) apply because "it looks fun/easy and i can make a lot of money" or even worse, get close to their oshis (super unprofessional btw).
These are not people to hire because they don't even have the drive to even ATTEMPT to stream once.

Mixed gender gens haven't done well since ILUNA. The Female market is oversaturated and there's really no crosscorpo unity. The male market has a lot of potential (as shown by FSP) and even the males of different corpos (Holo/FSP/Niji) work together often, but the viewer pool is much much smaller and the ceiling is lower.

Whatever they choose to do, they're gonna have to invest a lot in marketing.

Senzaki's VTuber kids are all male, as far as I know, so I'm assuming they wouldn't have hired her unless they were planning to have at least one dude debut

I don't really think they'd announce all these artists taking part if some of their designs aren't going to debut until gen 2. Not unless the gens are incredibly close together. Mixed gen or one all-female gen and one all-male gen with debuts on two different days feels most likely to me if they're auditioning both genders at the same time with that artist line-up.
