>Despite not speaking Japanese, I reached out to multiple mental health support organizations in Japan - including TELL Japan and Befrienders - explaining her situation and sharing translated messages. I’ve tried every anonymous reporting form I could find. But most hotlines only talk to the person in crisis, not to third parties. I feel helpless.
>I don’t know what else I can do. But I wanted to put her story out here, in case anyone else has more ideas or connections - or just to remember her, in case she truly doesn’t come back.
>She wasn't famous. But she mattered.
>If there’s anything anyone here can suggest — maybe a better way to reach out to local authorities or mental health organizations in Japan, or people who might actually know her offline — I’d be incredibly grateful.
