Is it vague and funny enough that if you don't know what she's referencing you'll just think its a funny joke and not try to dig into the drama because you won't even realize its there? Check
Does it work to validate the feelings of her fans that do know about the drama, which should be an idols first priority? Check
Is it a spiteful "well if you don't like it, dont watch me" type of comment that is purely made out of spite and has no possible alternative interpretation directed straight to people that hate her? Nope, unlike someone elses twitter post
So in one small comment, she blew the fuck out of her detractors, while at the same time covering herself in more than enough plausible deniability that if they try to respond she can just not get involved in further drama by pretending it wasn't about them and they look like crybabies if they complain.
And reminder, it worked too, brittani venti actually disappeared from the internet after that, thats how much she got fucking destroyed by that
