I knew something was coming with the way some of them were vague commenting "I can't trust anyone anymore". I'm going to give a good guess: because the talents were working off of different information and got it at different times--if management was "turning people against each other"--then some of the talents might have fought with other talents and said or done things thinking a certain way about them at the time.
