As a fan, this is one of the most tone-deaf and insincere announcements I’ve seen. There’s zero accountability. Henya spends most of it denying responsibility, claiming ignorance, and acting uninvolved, even though she actively promoted the scam. She can’t seriously claim she didn’t benefit, especially with how much Vshojo spent on platforms like 4chan and social media to sway public opinion.
There’s not even a support line for those affected. Vshojo members are pretending nothing happened, hoping it all blows over. Their message is basically, "Don’t complain to us, go ask your bank for a chargeback," even though the deadline has passed.
Compare that to Hololive, who took full responsibility when a streaming platform failed during a concert. They refunded viewers, paid talents, made the event free, and kept the community’s trust. Fans, in turn, supported them by superchatting back their refunds.

If Henya was scammed, that’s something for her and her lawyers to handle. But fans paid for merchandise tied to her IP, which she personally promoted, and it turned out to be fake. That makes it her responsibility. As someone who paid, I’m not going to chase down the manufacturer, the distributor, China, or anyone else. I bought the product she endorsed, so the accountability lies with her, not my bank or any other party.

To be honest, geega spoke about this most because she's been in business and knows the legality around bankruptcies and is probably the most qualified of them all to actually understand what the fuck is going on, and she basically said "I can only say so much because there's a legal battle and everything you say can and will be used against you."

Though really, there's nothing to understand and no mystery in there. Basically gunrun kept shuffling money around, taking it from one streamer to pretend to pay the other. Eventually someone got tired of waiting for the paycheck to go through and started to look more closely into the matter and realized that there was no money coming. Gunrun and Co. probably kept "2 more weeks"ing them but some saw the writing on the wall and started to dip.

Again, it's no surprise that Geega was one of the first to leave (If you don't count Matara getting fired as leaving) since she's worked with startups her whole life and already saw that kind of bad accounting happen over and over again and understood what was going on.
Why didn't she speak up first? Because speaking up opens you up to all kinds of legal troubles, hence why the advice every lawyer gives is "Shut the fuck up".
