The EN vtuber market was declining back in 2023 and there were bait threads being made about the Myth subscriber numbers slowing down to a snails crawl. Even with the vast marketing influence of Hololive it's difficult to hide the fact that EN viewer numbers have been going down. That is why botting has become so rampant since vtuber corpos are doing everything they can to keep investors from realizing that the market has declined.
