>>103261393I wish there was a way to accurately see the split, but the default sex for youtube is male, and thus it's overrepresented in analytics.
At the same time, there's con attendants, but those don't exactly represent the greater population either.
It'd be fun to compile a list of girls with significant female audiences, though, and maybe some overlapping qualities.
On the EN side, so far I only really know of Doki, Liz, Mori*, Fauna/Nimi, Mint*, Mouse, Numi, and Saba*.
I hear Dooby/Ame and I think Enna from NijiEN have large female groups too, but I don't know enough to confirm.
(*=very large female fanbase by number, but probably still a small percentage compared to the overwhelming male fanbase)
The only outliers in my list are I think Saba, who's mostly loved because she's excessively cute both in model choices and voice on top of the other traits, and Enna, whose significant female fanbase comes from the males she hangs around. The latter might apply to Mouse, too, but from a relatively less toxic fanbase.
Wish I could come up with a decent list of overlapping qualities but all I can think of is that being LGBT-friendly is usually a major factor, as well as natural charisma/confidence/stubbornnes.
